About

our mission

Hope Network’s mission is to empower women parenting independently in Milwaukee and its surrounding areas by offering resources to cultivate self-reliance and foster resilient families.

Empowering Bright Futures through Hope Network

Each individual has their own unique definition of success. However, many parents share common aspirations for their children, including access to quality education, achieving financial independence, and establishing a stable home environment. For single mothers, realizing these objectives can often appear daunting. HOPE Network is dedicated to offering supportive services aimed at empowering and uplifting single mothers, including educational assistance meant to help reduce the stress of parenting alone. Since 1982, HOPE Network has been dedicated to serving single mothers in the greater Milwaukee area, offering programs specifically crafted to assist them throughout their entire journey of parenthood.

For a nominal fee of $5, single mothers can become members of HOPE Network, gaining access to essential infant supplies, educational resources on safe sleep practices, and additional support services. Our quarterly Sharing HOPE Newsletter features health and wellness resources tailored to the specific needs and interests of single mothers. Moreover, membership opens doors to parental growth and family enrichment opportunities.

Our assistance also contributes to the future of the family through our annual scholarship opportunity. HOPE’s scholarships can be utilized for tuition or childcare while the mother pursues her education. We feel it is important to relieve a portion of the financial burden single mothers take on while embarking on their college or technical school journey. We believe education is key to inspiring and empowering our future generations, thus creating healthy and prosperous families.
