The Life of a Single Mom exists to provide support groups and education in parenting, finances, and health & wellness. Through our Single Mom University platform, we offer 100+ online courses that include: Navigating Parenting Seasons, Co-Parenting, Sex & Dating, Healing from the Past, Moving from Broke to Breakthrough, and more. New Concept Self-Development Center

Free adult education/GED prep.

Individualized instruction, transition to higher education at MATC. May receive scholarship for exam fee if comply with requirements and attend class regularly.

Center for Financial Stability & Asset

Comprehensive employment training, financial and asset-building services to low-income individuals who are unemployed or underemployed and are seeking economic self-sufficiency.

Milwaukee. Public Libraries

Free two-hour hands-on computer training; computer basics, Internet, e-mail, Microsoft Office, day and evening sessions.

HeartLovePlace

All training programs utilize the curriculum of the National Restaurant Association and ServSafe and include hands on experiences, job readiness training and exams. HeartLove Place will assist with employment placement for those that successfully complete the program.

Literacy Services of Wisconsin

Basic computer skills, resume prep, skills for helping children with homework, preparedness training, job placement help. Receive Servsafe food safety manager certification.0
